1. Shirdi Temple

Shirdi temple is located in Maharashtra. This temple is devoted to Saint Sai Baba and it is the third richest temple in India. Shirdi is identified through Sai Baba. This temple was built in 1922 and managed by Shri Sai Baba Sanstha Trust.  Every day millions of people visit this temple and other foreign countries like America, Singapore and Malaysia travellers are also planning to visit Shirdi. 2.Golden Temple

Golden temple is located in Amritsar, Punjab. The original name of this temple is Golden Gurudwara.  This temple is made up of real gold. It is the most important pilgrimage of Sikhism.  The construction of this temple was started in 1581 and end in  1604. And there is no caste discrimination to enter this temple. Guru Granth Sahib is the holy text of Sikhism and it is always present inside of the golden temple.  This temple is the best historical Monument in the world. It is necessary to open the shoes while entering the temple and washing feet in a small pool of water and it is essential to sit on the ground to show respect in their life.

 

3. Kashi Vishwanath Temple                          

Kashi Vishwanath Temple is one of the most famous temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is located in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. The original name of the temple is Vishveshvara. Mughal Emperor Akbar gave permission to build the temple which was destroyed by Aurangzeb.  The temple has a Golden Chatra on top. It is made up of real gold. Every day thousands of people visit this temple. This temple is the heart of Varanasi. Everyone must visit at least one time in a year.

 

4.Jagannath Temple

Jagannath Temple is one the most famous temple of India and this temple is located in Odisha.  This temple is devoted to Lord Krishna. The main festival here is RathYatra. On this RathYatra all the peoples are taken a ride on the temple. Millions of people joined this RathYatra from all over the world. There are many conditions for entering the temple. Only Hindus of Indian origin are permitted to enter this temple. But foreign nationalist is restricted to enter in this temple.

 

5. Somnath Temple

Somnath Temple is also the most famous temple which is located in Gujrat. This temple is dedicated to Lord  Shiva. Meaning of Somnath is lord of the Soma. The structure of this temple was completed in 1951. This temples took around five years to complete. And it is inaugurated by the president of India Dr.Rajendra Prasad. The Aarti of this temple is very famous. Most of the peoples came from all over India to see the Aarti. Timings of Darshan around 6.00Am to10.00Pm and the entry is free. So you must visit at least one time in life.

 

6. Vaishno Devi

Vaishno Devi Temple is located in TrikootParvatof Katra, Jammu and it is dedicated Goddess Vaishnavi. This is the major pilgrimage of the Hindus. You can easily reach to Vaishno Devi temple by train or bus. Vaishno Devi is placed at an altitude of 5200 feet above from sea level. Every year millions of people visit at the temple of Vaishno Devi. Vaishno Devi took birth around 700 years ago. And few feet above there is a BhaironNath Temple. There are various types of modes of transportation are available from Katra to Bhawan like ponies, electric vehicles and palki. The heilicopter facility is also available. Everyone must visit at least one time in a year.
